WRATCHET HEAD released its first single, "Coming For You", on September 14 via iTunes. Mixed by renowned East Coast engineer Jonathan Wyman and mastered by Grammy-nominated mastering engineer Adam Ayan, the track "offers the true metal fan a new spin on Michael's legendary sound of hard rock," according to a press release. "Add to that the uniquely talented Rane Stone on vocals, drummer Adam Clark, guitarist Jesse Paul, bassist Steve Jackson, and you are in for a real treat!"
"Coming For You" is described as "a prelude to an amazing, thought-provoking and well-written heavy rock album" which will appeal to "the millions of QUEENSRŸCHE fans whose ears have longed to once again be filled with the classic, melodic and sometimes haunting sounds of 'the earlier years.'"
Rat Pak Records previously stated about hupcoming CD, "Without giving too much away, we can tell you that this new offering will in no way mirror any of Michael's recent work. From its musical conceptions to its presentation, WRATCHET HEAD will be an entirely new interpretation of exactly what you would hope and expect to hear from an artist whose roots run deep in the hard rock/heavy metal genres."
"There were no unwanted 'hands in the mix' guiding or dictating the album's direction, thus making the creative process wide open for Michael and the band," says Rat Pak Records president Joe O'Brien.
Other songtitles set to appear on the album include "Doomsday", "Your Confession", "All for You", "Only Human", "Broken", "Black and Cold" and "Defy".
